New York Day 1

New York Day 1:
Hi guys! And you're probably wondering, what is she doing right in front of a random desk? Well, I am at an airport going toooooo, drumroll please! No drumroll? Okay... if you said, or guessed NYC....
YOU ARE CORRECT!!!
Yes, New York City!  Shoutout to Delta airlines! Woo!
OHMYGOSH!! Did I tell you that we were COMPLETELY RUSHED?? We were. My brother forgot his school iPad and it was on the table RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE, he was also late to school, our flight got delayed and we were getting an Uber, then we saw the same EXACT CAR and told the man that he was on our street but he really wasn't so he kept turning in circles. AND THEN THE WORST POSSIBLE THING IN THE WHOLE INTIRE WORLD (not in the whole entire world...)  our plane flight got changed BACK to its original time, 9:53 a.m. ugh...   Long story short, we made it to the plane! Phew.

Ahhhh! there is nothing better than GoldFish, Hershey Chex Mix and carrot sticks to last you a 3 and a half hour ride. To me, the flight was long, bumpy and made my ears hurt. On the airplane, I could watch a movie - Ralph Breaks the internet. I thought it was so cool to see the destination on the screen. I didn't have to ask my mom how much longer - I just looked at the screen. Well, I should have annoyed her asking,"How much longer?" Isn't that what kids are for?

Once I got to the hotel, I thought, 'wow this place is amazing'. The lady at the front desk was very nice and every time I walked past her, she gave me a chocolate pretzel! The rooms were amazing and there was a remote and the remote controlled what color the room was! And of course, someone was afraid of the dark (me) so we kept it on all night. speaking of night, I had a dream the night we got there. To you this dream will sound kind of weird, (please don't laugh:) but it was about me going to my favorite place formally known as StarBucks. I went there with $100, and bought a lot of Lemon bread to give to homeless people because in NYC, unfortunately there is a lot, a lot ,a lot of homeless people.

Anyway, as soon as we got checked in I went to go see my cousins with my aunt. Everley ( 3rd pic left ) who is 3 years old, and Eli ( 5th pic one with yellow sunglasses and blue jacket ) who is 4. They were "taking naps" when I walked in. They were super exited to see me ( I think:) and when we turned on the lights, they were bouncing off the walls. 2 hours later, (it felt like it) we got them dressed and we decided to go on the Ferry! The Ferry is a boat that goes one place to another every 20 minutes over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. In case you're wondering, the two places the Ferry goes is NYC and New Jersey.

One of my favorite things was seeing my mom and dads old apartment. I could only see from the outside, but from what I saw, it looked really pretty. The warm lights shining through the windows made it look really cozy and sweet. I really wish I could live there someday.

Later that night, we went to Times Square. My dad worked at Ernst & Young in NYC, so I was able to see his office building. It was really fancy, and I went through the revolving doors and pretended I was going to work like him.

We went shopping until 10pm! My mom never lets me stay up that late. My Gigi gave me birthday money $100 to spend in NYC. The first store we went to was H&M. As soon as we walked in, I had my eyes set on a beautiful pair of sunglasses. These sunglasses looked like something a famous person would wear.  And just my luck, they were only $10.  I guess it was just a special night for me.
